Then for some reason I got energized. I'm sure it wasn't from picking up dog poo outside. Was it these super delicious easy to make Classic Currant Scones from The Joy of Vegan Baking? I totally think so. It made around 10 decently sized scones. I used the rest of the Trader Joe's dried fruit mix (cran, blueberry, golden raisin) instead of currants. The goo you see next to the scone is kiwi jam that I made from a VT recipe last month. I like the jam even w/ the issues I had w/ the recipe (totally my fault).
I think dinner will be tacos again because the avocado is ripe and I love tacos.
I also had a long chat w/ my mother on the phone today. She gave me some ideas of what to do to fix my bread making issues. I guess I will give it one more try. sigh. I also got some info on some of my lineage. I'm so clueless w/ all that.

your scones are perfection. good to hear you had a nice long chat with your mom. I must do the same soon.
The scones look great. I'm always skeptical about scones because the ones I've had have always seemed like dried out muffins. I guess I should really give them a shot.
Then I should call my mom..and send her some scones...
The Scones look great!
And Kiwi Jam HELLO!!!
*rushes off to read more Kiwi Jam*

Now the Ghostbusters theme is in my head! Those scones look super good.
