Testing 123 - Sugarfest

The testing part of the title was to get the email subscriptions working. The sugarfest, is well just what it sounds like.

Over the past week or so, I made Jelly Donut Cupcakes from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World. I used strawberry jam in mine. Very easy way to make a filled cupcake. Yummy stuff.

I also made Isa's chocolate chip cookies from her recent post. They were very very good. Andy had his in a sundae with Soy Dream chocolate ice cream, banana, and peanut butter (that part he didn't eat because he doesn't know what tasty is).

I harassed Nibbler to get these photos. Not exactly perfect, but at least he didn't run away. The second picture is his special message to me on what he thinks of the camera.

I'll let you know when I receive the email - though I noticed to begin with it takes HOURS!
Then after a while it emails within mins.

Both the cupcakes and the cookies look scrumptious. Your cat is also adorable. I love the first picture. It just screams "Love me!" to me.

Holy sugarfest!! I will steal those cupcakes if you're not careful! :)
OMG Nibbler is giving you the butt! I guess, that's their way of giving us the finger.

Holy crap, that sundae. Yummy.

The cat pictures look like he's tumbling down the stairs, like a flip-book...

those cupcakes are perfect. terry and isa are just goddesses.

i love your cat's butt. it's so cute and clean. i used to have a cat, but she wouldn't EVER let us give her a bath. she wouldn't bathe herself either, so she was always such a mess.

I used to give Peepa and the Judge baths until the Judge jumped on my back when I was cleaning Peepa. Not fun.

So Nibbler is in charge of his own butt. He does a better job than I could :)

The food looks awesome! You got the jam to sit in the middle of your cuppies perfectly! I've made them a couple of times and it seems very hit and miss for me!
And that sundae...wow! Nom!
I just checked out that doughnut robot link you sent me!! Awesome but a bit too 'industrial scale' for my needs (I wanna save the whales~not turn into one!).But check this out http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/kitchen/a2d2/

And thanks for offering to do swapsies with me *feels all warm and fuzzy inside* Would you like to do one in the new year? (gives me time to gather some really good stuff together) If you still want to then drop me an e-mail sometime and we can sort it out >:o)

I think Nibbler just loves his cute little butt and is showing it off for pictures and I say hey... if you've got flaunt it! :) heheee... mm... that SugarFest looks mighty delicious! I'm trying out cookie recipes for christmas right now!

I've always been curious about those jelly donut cupcakes. You may have just convinced me to make them!

That sundae is killer. Mmm mmm!

Becks - figures that they have a smaller version of a doughnut robot. gotta please the masses :). Though I won't tell Andy and I know he doesn't read the comments on my blog, so I'm safe.

Vegannifer - you gotta try them :)

Guava - You have too much energy, can I have some? I can't even think about xmas cookies until December. I'm still all confused about Thanksgiving.

Nibbler is a mysterious cat. Perhaps he is showing off and sending a message at the same time.

mm... seriously... lots of fails & extra sweets lying about... if I thought they would save I would totally send cookies to everybody!! My friend proposes I freeze the stuff I'm going to send to her in care packages and let them thaw out on the way there... seems risky but if it works... Nom nom NOM!!!

yum! those cookies look so good. :D

veganview - awwww! The cats say they love you loving their pics :)

VeggieGirl - I think these particular cupcakes are hit or miss. Trust me, I didn't do anything special. Maybe next time, I'll have issues. If so, I will cover them with frosting. Nothing like a good cover up :)

Guava - you have to let me know if freezing works. the last time I sent cookies to somebody was more than 20 years ago. they were choc chip and they arrived as crumbs. Must have been a rough trip for them.

bethany, i feel like i have to make these cupcakes. there's so many blondies in the house, but every time i come on your page and see these, glazed doughnuts are dancing in my mind and think to myself "wow, i really want a doughnut and if i can get it in cupcake form, that's even better."

Bethany said...

you should eat all of your blondies first. Finish your dessert or you can't have more dessert :)
