Is anybody sick of pumpkin yet? Didn't think so!

I saw the Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake on SusanV's blog and had to try it. It was really easy to make - all food processor action, my kind of recipe. And the results were delicious, light and fluffy, just like cheesecake - even with the yummy thin lemon layer on the bottom. I couldn't find a graham crust in my co-op, so I used a regular white frozen crust. You gotta try it.

Here is a pic of Andy trying to read a book in the overgrown cat cage. As you can see, the cats (Faline in this case) have to crawl all over us no matter where we are :). In this pic, it's still summer and really hot.
I got 4 of them to go outside yesterday in the cat cage (on their own) and it's really cold outside. They are so clingy!

That pie looks delicious. I think it's cute how clingy the cat is. :-)

I also wanted to let you know I've tagged you as well!

So yummy-looking.

I've always wanted an outdoor cat run. As it is, Max is only allowed on the balcony with supervision... and I don't spend too much time out there.

that looks like a damn good pie!!! i can't wait for thanksgiving. i'm craving pie like no other.

and i love how you named your squirrel!!! i thought i was the only person who did that haha i would kill to see a flying squirrel. i was watching videos on youtube for about an hour that involved psycho squirrels. one of my favorites was called "drunken squirrel" or something of that nature. he kept falling off a tree onto his back. haha poor thing.

Tara and Kelly, thanks :). I really like this random facts meme.

Cody - in the house prior to this one, I built a sort of frame within my balcony (to reduce nails on the actual balcony) and put up netting. They loved it.

Joanna - Even though it was about 18 years ago, I really miss BB Nutkin. He was so cute.

Pumpkin pie with a layer of lemon sounds incredible! Even with all the pumpkin we've seen recently, I've yet to have some pie! I should make one soon...

Your pumpkin cheesecake looks so kickass!
Cats have no idea of what a boundary is, which is strangely adorable!
