This is the type of stuff a sick blogger blogs about

I've started to like the Numi honeybush tea. I think it tastes better cold. Not much help when you're sick, but hey, I can have it that way in a few months when I'm finally better. whine whine.

Last night I had Andy pick up the Numi tea sampler box. It has 18 different teas in it. About 1/3 were decaf. So I'm making my way through them. They are all vegan, organic and don't have sketchy "natural flavors" or things like that.

I should try them all again when I'm not sick so my taste buds are firing on all cylindars.

Sweet Meadows (chamomile, Lemon Myrtle). I like chamomile, but sometimes it can taste gross. This one was really nice. I didn't detect that much of a lemon flavor.

Ruby Chai (Roobios, cloves, allspice, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon). delicious. You need to add some soymilk and agave. Chai is the only type of tea that I add sugar to. I couldn't really detect any roobios flavor because of all the spices.

Chippy's surgery went well and he is staying overnight at the vet's. I really like my vet. She is really funny and knows her stuff.

Chippy needs to come home so he can watch TV and video games. He sits right in front of the TV or monitors so he can get a good view.

Supergranny is his favorite video game. Though he also likes it when I open up paint and just doodle. He has even been know to swat at the screen.

So sorry you are still sick. I am very happy that Chippy is doing well. I thing my Abby and Kelly would love that video game. My daughter just found a new tea that she loves. It is called Bengal Spice by Celestial. She uses silk creamer in it and loves it!! Hope you feel better really soon!

Bless little Chippy, glad to hear he's OK. My Salem cat had a urinary tract infection in September and the vet wasn't sure if he would pull through! God it was awful. He did pull through though - good vets are marvelous.

I absolutely LOVE Chamomile - I think it's my favourite tea EVER!
Apart from good old English tea that is.

I'm glad Chippy got through it all okay! And for you Miss Bethany... i prescribe 'Medicine Bag Tea' (bag of Lemon Chamomile and a bag of Ginseng Peppermint... used to put honey but it's great without!) The chamomile is super soothing and the peppermint gives you a little kick! Gah... if I'd known you were going to be sick this long I would have sent some along to you! Get better lady! :)
